Access to the BvLArchivio® server is only possible from your own subnet.
Access from other networks is only possible if you set up a default gateway.
Enter the following line in the Internet browser:

Shutting down the server properly
If possible, do not shut down the server if files are still
being processed. This is the case if the number of files
that are still to be processed in the fields
W1, W2,
or
W3
is larger than zero.
Enter the following line in the Internet browser:
Enter the user name and password to access the
administration archive (error archive).
Now enter
bvl-archivsystem-shutdown-
in the
search field and press .
The server will answer with a number. Now enter
bvl-archivsystem-shutdown-
in the search field once
again and write the number displayed by the server
directly after the last dash (
bvl-archivsystem-shutdown-12345
).
Do not switch off the server – the server will shut down on its own!
You can use the blue power light on the housing of the server to see when the server has been switched off. Check the
power lights on the server, all of the lights must be off. In order to place the server back into operation, simply press the
“ON” switch on the server. If you shut down the server even though files are still being processed then the server will take
considerably longer to shut down.
The server cannot be shut down between the hours of 00:00 and 03:00 (see page 36).
Forcing the server to shut down
If the server has not been properly shut down or an error message is displayed when entering a command then you can
force the server to shut down using an emergency shutdown command.
This process should only be used as a last resort because any current archiving process may be improperly interrupted
leading to a possible loss of data.
