control commands
BvLArchivio® has nine control commands. Control commands serve to ensure that you do not need to further process the
document after scanning in order to archive it. Control commands are located somewhere on the scanned document and
tell BvLArchivio® what to do with the document.
The control characters must always be written in capitals!
%START%
Located at the start, acts as a marker for the starting position, tells the system that the
processing should begin from this point.
%A%
Archivio 1 / Department 1
Instructs the system that this document should be saved to Archivio 1.
%E%
Archivio 2 / Department 2
Instructs the system that this document should be saved to Archivio 2.
%H%
Archivio 3 / Department 3
Instructs the system that this document should be saved to Archivio 3.
%N%
Archivio 4 / Department 4
Instructs the system that this document should be saved to Archivio 4.
%X%
Archivio 5 / Department 5
Instructs the system that this document should be saved to Archivio 5.
%NEIN%
Prohibits the system from automatically indexing the first page of the document.
Otherwise, the first 999 words, terms, and numbers are always automatically saved as
search terms from the first page of the document. You can also change this value (
see page 8
).
%JA%
Full text indexing will be carried out. All words, terms, and numbers from the whole
document will be saved as search terms.
%ENDE%
Located at the end, acts as a marker for the end position, tells the system that the
processing should end here.
Examples of the syntax for control characters / control commands
